I was going to say a Bible cannot save you, but that is not entirely true. While I had heard many sermons on sin and all things wrong with me it was not until I started reading the Gospels and seeing the sinful nature play itself out on the stage that is my life. Not only did the very words condemn me they also brought to my despair the words of life and they seemed "real" to me. Too good to be true is more like it, but I knew the truth when I heard it and I started down the bumpy road that is my Christian walk. The path is narrow and straight but I seem to have a wobble.

Oh, the Bible was King James and I love the poetry and speech. Now I have a parallel Bible with both KJV and NIV.

The Bible can "save" no one... any one who thinks The Bible "saved" them is not saved.

And the second commandment is this...
That you love your neighbor as yourself!
Of course the Bible doesn't save anyone
But the Word of God, when applied, does!

I sure hope no one here actually takes the Bible seriously.

I beheld, ... a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God.--Rev.5:6
