In my book, sweet potatoes are a super-food. High in fiber, vit. A/beta-carotene, and can be prepared sweet or savory, boiled, baked or fried. They are a powerhouse of nutrition.

Broccoli is another. Chock full of vits/mins and tastes good, too!

Milk is another. Nourishing, tastes great w/ choc. cake, and so much can be made out of it, not to mention the calcium and vit. A & D it has

Eggs.... cheap, nutritious, versatile. A near-perfect protein that can be whipped, fluffed, scrambled, boiled, fried, or incorparated into other baked goods.

Blueberries are great for the skin according to the famous dermatologist Dr. Perricone. Salmon is also very good.

Spirulina, kelp, barley grass

My fav is Green Vibrance (a combo of a lot of superfoods)

Cranberry juice. In my book it's a cure-all. Tea is a close second.

One of my cats swears by roast beef and cheese.
