Big business and government are not interested in the political cost of the real fix, they just want to shut up the middle class that is paying the big price for a non-policy. We have no security and if you just start fresh it looks on paper for a moment that all is well with this issue. Nobody stands to gain by the policy the people will just pay more for labor , the new citizens will have a cost of living increase with more tax. It will solve very little.
