Some atheist was critisizing some religious people on not doing enough and here is one famous saying of Jesus Christ.

James 2: 14My friends, what good is it to say you have faith, when you don't do anything to show that you really do have faith? Can that kind of faith save you? 15If you know someone who doesn't have any clothes or food, 16you shouldn't just say, "I hope all goes well for you. I hope you will be warm and have plenty to eat." What good is it to say this, unless you do something to help? 17Faith that doesn't lead us to do good deeds is all alone and dead

Quoting the bible to Atheist is like bringing water to the sea. jesus did not write a single word in the bible. only a hundred years later other start making up stories about jesus and his endeavors. get your facts straight.

I believe Jesus existed and was a wonderful teacher....but he wasn't the son of any god(s).....

Yup, i agree. Jesus as a philosopher might have been wise(if he existed), but he certainly wasn't the son of a deity.
