I think there are two ways that you could go with this. The first option would be to have your walls painted a neutral color. Something in the tan or khaki family. I think Benjamin Moore's Antique Parchment would be an excellent choice. It has a hint of yellow in it that would help bring on the green in your sofa, but it's neutral so it gives a more professional look than paint the walls yellow.
The second option, and the better of the two, would be to pick a color between green and blue. Its what I call a nuetral blue, because I think greens can be really neutral if used the right way. The color that I picked out is Pleasant Valley which is also by Benjamin Moore. It's beautiful and as soon as I saw you had a light green sofa, my mind imediately came up with a mix of blue and green.

What other colors are in the room? Pick one you like, that contrasts a little with the green, [ peach, or amber, or smoke blue, or light caramel ], and repeat the colors of couch and walls in drapes, pillows, rug, etc.
Consider a flokati rug, or sisal mat for the floor.

Depends on what other colors you got going on in the room. But I would think a pale yellow, or sandy tanish color would look good. A light coral/pink color or light bluish color might look good. Look at your other stuff and try to find a color you think might look good with it, or go get some paint swatches.

Well, If you want the room to look bigger, but have a welcoming feeling, then paint it baby blue, peach or an off-white. But if you dont care about the size then paint it a copper brown.
