Where is hell located? When I was little I was always told that if I was good I would go *up there*, but if not then the devil would get me and I would go *down there*....so just exactly where is hell? It would have to be someplace with a lake of fire, right? And if anyone has them I would like coordinates please....

I was taught it was in the core of the earth, seriously. My preacher even claimed that you could hear souls screaming near volcanoes. I don't believe this of course. I'm just passing on what I heard. This website I linked shows the exact location of hell, according to some fundamentalists. What's odd is my church as a child was Methodist, but they were definitely out of the mainstream.

Hell - like a jail cell - holding people who wait for the Day of Judgment is indeed in the center of the Earth.

The Lake of Fire is the future place of punishment where all who are sentenced to the Second Death (Eternal Separation from God) will be sent upon the Day of Judgment. There is not an indication in scripture as to where this is.

It is amusing to see so many scientific models as to what the Center of the Earth is like. No one knows. they have complete theories. We have not been able to penetrate our Earths Crust for more than a few miles.

Modern man is so arrogant, but knows so little. The scary part is how self-assured these ignoramuses are.

It destroys credibility: 'ethos'. It begs the question, what other things are they so wrong about and so sure about at the same time?

Hello, According to the bible, the final deestruction of the wicked comes at the end of time. The wicked are reserved unto judgement [2 Pet.2:4] Our God is a consuming fire to sin wherever found [Heb.12:29] The fires of Hell originate from heaven at the end of Time not some hot spot in the earth [Rev.20:9] The wicked will be totally consumed. they shall be cut off from the earth [see Prov.10:25, Ps.37:10-11,20,34,38] They shall be consumed to ashes [Mal.4:1-3] Thei final destruction will occur after the thousand years millennimum [Rev.20:5] at the resurrection of damnation [Jn.5:28-28]

I am only 10 and I believe that hell is any place you want it to be. LIke people say that heaven is in the sky well I believe that hell is as long as the sky except under all the ground of earth with a 1000000 feet depth. When people used to say why are you down in the dumps, I thought they meant why are you sad when you are not in the dumps.(dumps as hell) so I have always believed it to be down below us. I just wish that I could talk to god. I believe that jesus and god and the saints are with you invisable or as a person. I just wish that god and I could have a conversation but I guess and hope that will be when I die and go to heaven or hell. I hope i answered your question. Thanks for reading this bye.!

No one really knows whether hell would be on earth or somewhere in the air, however it exists. Jesus did not say where it is exactly but only urge people to believe and follow his teachings in order to escape from the damnation of hell. Only the devil and the lost people, meaning those who reject Christ would know. But for believers we ony worry about getting to heaven.

Hell is the common grave for mankind; also termed "Sheol and Hades". It is not a place where you roast and burn to eternity.

That false teaching is preached by false religious leaders to scare people for various reasons. In the end false teachings will cost many their lives.
