Curious to do a little poll here. Please state where you met your bf/gf and a brief description on how it began.

I met her as I was getting out of a pool. It was totally out of the blue, and I am so glad it happened. (from the moment I saw her, I knew she was the one...we have been together for over 5 years)
I used to teach swimming lessons and one of the kids that was in my group had a sister. She was my age and she would bring her little brother to lessons. I didn't "notice" her at first, but then I put two and two together and figured out that she was this kid's older sister. She would come over to me after the lesson and we would talk...not about her brother at all, but we would talk about each other. A few years passed by and we didn't see each other. But then out of the blue, we happened to meet again and ever since things have been great. I can't imagine my life without her...and she knows that!
(I do realize that that was the short paraphrased version (so much more details happened), but it gets the point across.)
Also think of life this way...everyone you meet you meet out of the blue. Have you ever moved and met new people...if you hadn't moved, you would have never met them. Everything happens for a reason...sometimes it takes longer to find out what those reasons are, but in time you will.

I stopped for a hot dog approx 1am. There was a nurse at the counter waiting for her order. We went outside to a picnic table and ate together, I asked if whe wanted to go for a drink, but she didn't go to bars in her nurse's uniform. Made a date for the following Sat nite. She proposed 5 weeks later, married the next day, been married 41 yrs. I know that was crazy, but we were in mid 20's, and just knew it was right.

One of my good friends met my 'now' bf at one of my other best friends birthday party. My boyfreind and my friend he was with hooked up that night and dated a littel on and off but it was nothing serious. So a month later, I was hanging out with some friends and he was there and i guess sparks just flew lol..and so now weve been dtaing for about two months and its great! haha and i havent told the friend that hooked up with him that were together yet!!

On-line. Felt like the biggest loser on earth resorting to this method to meet someone of the opposite sex. But it worked out fantastic and we were actually married on May 20/07, 3 years after meeting one and other.

Well i met my bf at school. We were in math calss together. I told my friend that i liked him. I would always talk about him, then one day my friend asked him if he would go out with me and he was like NO. Then about a week later my friend asked me if I still liked him and i said no not really anymore and then she said well keep your hopes up. Then later that night there was this school dinner thing and i was hanging out with all my friends and then HE showed up. My friend made everyone leave and it was just me and him and then he asked my do you wanna go out with me? i was like WHAT????............ok......... then i went to talk to my friend and the first thing i said was how much did you pay him to say that and she was all like no he really likes you. We went out for a long time but then we broke up. But theres my sappy story of where my boyfriends(or in this case last boyfriend) met. sorry its so long...........

we met at the hospital . we were both outpatients who had to come in each day for some treatment . we ended up getting to know each other in front of the hospital as we both smoked and wanted to get that last one in before we went in for our treatments. we did that 10 years ago . we are still together.

I met my girlfriend under a brige. turnes out she was a homeless junkie. small town and I ran into her a few more times before she told me she liked me. she was actualy kind of preaty so I went ahead with it and ended up falling in love with the woman.

certainly, via right here! properly, a woman I met via right here presented me to him on messenger.... That sounds so unhappy. yet confident, we met, moved in... A a million a million/2 12 months's later, its nonetheless super. ok, now thoroughly.... circumstances stated as for us to be long distance returned a pair months returned. That area sucks..
