Spending some quality time with them. Try reading stories on the grass,
Taking a nice walk,
go to the park,
sing some songs
swimming.....There is so much you can do.

Well are you home with them often.. if your not, I'm sure they are just happy that you are home. The six month old will be perfectly content to play peek-a-boo, and silly baby songs sung. A walk in the stroller, they love that.
The two year old would love to go for a walk, maybe go to the park so you two can swing together, and goof around on the slides and stuff. They're little, and all they want is to spend time with you. It doesn't really matter to them what you do.

Enjoy them. Take them to the park. For a walk in the stroller. Just play it by ear - that's what I do when I babysit kids that age.

A picnic in the park would be nice and maybe you can bring food for the ducks and let your kids feed them.

I go a lot of places with my kids even when they were that young. How about a trip to the park, take a walk, go to the zoo, children's museum, pool, etc.
