But the thing is, nobody has actually ever SEEN it (well, in dreams perhaps) and like died and then come back from the dead and said "OMG, HEAVEN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!" Plus, I mean I knowhow many miracles and signs there are that God exists, but what if that is the God of some different religion that doesn't even believe in Heaven? I mean, that's the only thing...I just don't know what happens after death and I get so scared worrying about it. I tell my parents about it, and these worries usually go away when I'm busy. But one time or another, I am not doing anything and start wondering...and worrying. I am just scared. So many people say that Heaven does not exist...I really want to believe in it, but it is just so hard for me to believe things I have not seen. I pray and that usually makes things better, but I can't seem to get it out of my mind! I DO NOT want to see a therapist about it, because I am too young for Depression and stuff. I am just scared about that whole "so then what?"

It's really easy to doubt any of it exists. But having faith takes courage.

I have experienced this recently. I went to a funeral today and the preacher talked about a doctor that he knew who said that a patient of his died. He revived him and the patient was saying that his legs were burning. He died again and was revived a second time. He said he was burning through his body. He died again and was revived for good a third time. He told the doctor that he was in the room, outside of his body, and he could see himself and the doctor trying to revive him. After this, the man became saved and the doctor did too. That is what the preacher said today.

I am the same way as you. I have a hard time believing that people of other religions will go to hell because they believe something that their mom and dad told them was the truth. I want to talk to a preacher about this. Maybe you can do the same. The preacher today said there are many things he doesn't understand, but he is going to ask God when he gets to heaven.

I hope you find peace soon so you can stop worrying. I'm working on it myself. Just keep praying! That's what I do.

I think that being scared of death is more common than people realize, especially when someone has uncertainty. At one time, I used to think about this often and it eventually led me to looking up the beliefs and lack of beliefs regarding this. I will never be scared of death as when my best friend died, I realized that when my time is up, I will be with her whether it is a heaven, a different dimension, a place that Sylvia Browne would talk about (look her up), or if, and this may scare you, but if it is nothing at all. It no longer matters to me for I will be wherever she is and that's all that matters.

I could never tell you that heaven is 100% there. What I can tell you is that I have a cousin who has had one of the near death experiences. If she were writing this, she'd tell you that you have absolutely nothing to fear because the other side of life is a much better place that is actually closer to this dimension than we can imagine. Apparently she says it's all right here just above the ground (i.e. makes sense that many ghost sightings are slightly above ground too).

I do think that looking into more of the dynamics of the concept of heaven will lead you to something that gives a sense of comfort to you. For me, it was a personal journey because religion taught me there was a heaven but it was also because of religion that I began to doubt this. (long story)

I finally came to my own conclusion that makes sense to me. I do think there is "the other side" and it is as my cousin told me, it is on this very same level of earth. "The Other Side" (or heaven) has a much higher vibrational frequency which means we cannot even tell it is right here because we are stuck in a solid (our body). It is only when we are out of body that we can even begin to experience the peace, bliss, love, or happiness of the other side because in our life form if we were to experience that much love as is described, we'd probably explode from the energy. The vibration of it is too much for the body.

That is one of the theories I tend to believe for the most part right now.

You need to talk to a pastor about this. Heaven is real. Sit down and read your bible. Look at all of the wonders and miracles that are recorded in that book. Jesus was sent here from Heaven and he lived on this earth then died and rose from the dead! How much more do you need to believe? :) He is real and he wants an open loving relationship with you. You have to have faith. But when you have a relationship with the Lord it is easy.

Oh and you are not to young to suffer from depression. There are small children that are diagnosed with depression. However I don't think depression is your problem.

Good luck and God Bless!

Whether there is a heaven or not... it's more important to make your world that you live in today a more harmoneous place, and appreciate what you have... part of this is acknowledging the bad along with the good & working towards love & peace.

As long as you follow this edict, if there is a heaven you'll probably end up there... if there isn't, then you have helped to make the world better while you were here, and then your body's atoms & electrons were transformed into another form, so you're never actually gone completely.

You're made up of the same stuff that makes stars! :D

The Apostle Paul said, "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man all that God has prepared for those who love Him." Heaven is so wonderful that we can't conceive of it, yet Paul went on to say that the Lord has revealed it to us by His Spirit. These things are spiritually discerned.

We read in the Book of Revelation of streets of gold that are like clear crystal. It needs no light because the light of God is in it. It has a river flowing from the throne of God, with trees growing on either side of it that are for the healing of the nations. You see people walking in bliss and the redeemed souls praising God. You have pictures in the Book of Revelation of the throne of God. Throughout the Bible there are scenes describing the seraphim, the "burning ones" that burn with their holiness, surrounding God's throne. We also read of the cherubim and the twerity-four elders that are throwing down their crowns before God. God is sitting in the midst of this, the firmament beneath Him, and the brilliance of gemstones sparkling in His presence. Heaven will be blinding in its beauty!

The Bible says, "There shall no longer be any death; and there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold I am making all things new." We will live eternally in a new heaven and a new earth. There will be no more fear, poverty, sickness, war, or suffering, because these things will have passed away.

Jesus believed in heaven, and He encouraged His disciples to look forward to their eternal home. He said, "'In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.' "

How do we know heaven exists? Not because of deathbed confessions or "life after life" reports from people who claim to have "died" while on the hospital operating table and then traveled down a long tunnel toward a bright light. No, we believe heaven exists, because Jesus Christ said so.

Christianity is all about faith. You can't see love but you know it's real, it exists. You just believe and hope that it's real. I had the same problem but about my salvation. I think it's a good thing you pray and you must believe their is a god out there that you are praying to, why do you not believe in heaven then? No one really knows for sure but we believe and have hope that it exists. Heaven is our reward for that belief. I think I would advise to go to a local church and talk to someone. Really preachers are more than happy to talk to you about these things. It's not as scary as it may seem.

First, might I suggest that you talk to your pastor? It sounds like you just need a boost in the "have faith" department. Assuming that you believe the Bible to be the truth and written by God through people- you must then believe what it says.
John 3:16 says that whoever believes in Jesus will live forever because of how much God loves this world we all live in. God sent Jesus to die on the cross so that ALL of us could live forever with Him. We just have to believe and we will not die. In Isaiah 19:20 predicts that a Saviour will come (Old testament) and in the new testament we learn that He did come- Jesus. Jesus' sole purpose on this earth was to save all of us. To bring us to heaven to be with Him and his Father. Believe in the Bible and you believe in heaven. I don't think you need a therapist, I think you need to believe what you know to be true and not listen to those around you who are messing with your head and trying to scare you into thinking that heaven does not exsist. Heaven is ready and waiting for those who believe in Jesus when God calls them home. It is not for us to decide when we go to heaven but it is for us to believe that Jesus came for us so that we could be with Him. Jesus loves you and loves the fact that you are seeking answers to your questions. Asking questions will only strengthen your faith.

First of all, YES, Heaven DOES exist! When you die, your soul goes to heaven, providing you've been good enough to get in! When Jesus was crusified, and the thief was beside him going to die also, he asked Jesus for forgiveness, and he forgave him and said "For sure, you will be in heaven with me "today" ." Your worrying is just Satan trying to pull you away! Don't let him win! Be stong and BELIEVE! Tell Satan to shut up and that you rebuke him! I hope this helps you alittle! Stay strong!
