Well you have to run everyday. Have a set distance you are going to run and time yourself on how long it takes you, aim for a shorter and shorter time everyday. Then make a longer distance and keep going until you get faster and better at running.

Get some good running shoes, drink lots of water..eat healthy, excersice..and the p\best thing you can do, is practice. Go for short runs every day to get your body in shape and muscled up. When I made the soccer team, i was out of shape and couldn't run for long but i practiced and got better and better. it also helps if you have long legs. Hope i helped.

Practice sprinting the 50 yard dash. Time yourself over a few days and compare your times after a few weeks. Have a friend race you to pace you. If you could train with the track team in the Spring it would help. I would also go on longer runs to build stamina and endurance.

train your self. start out running on a track every week run 100 meters then the next week work up to 200 and so on or if you cant get to a track i would jog to warm up then start running for a few minutes then walk then run then walk until you get so used to running you dont have to walk anymore this helps your cardiovascular endurance. hope this helps!

You can step up two cones about 10 yds apart and run back and forth between them as fast as you can, called a shuttle run. Also try working out your calves and thigh muscles, doing squats or lunges should help.

Stretch, go to the track and do short bursts of power sprints and relax, and repeat a few times. Don't tire yourself out, and give yourself time to heal and Recover.
