There has been talk that Busch may change to using more "stock" cars and less of the highly modified COT cars. This would allow the teams to have different styles of cars.

I have also heard that NASCAR will introduce the COT to Nextel first and see how things go, then look at Busch (or whatever it's going to be with the new sponsor). So, don't look for any real modifications for a while.

That might eventually have to go to the COT car, Because I believe that the Busch series uses basically the same car (only smaller than the Cup) but 2 years later than the cars the cup series drivers use. something like that. So maybe in the next couple years after the Busch series gets their new sponsor that they might be going to the COT as well.

There's been discussion of switching to a car with the same improved safety features of the CoT, but based on cars like the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger. I think this is the best way to go, update the cars, but make them different enough that Cup drivers and teams get little to nothing out of running the Busch races.

I haven't heard anything about it, so far it seems that they will use the old car for now, in fact, they could just keep using it so that the Busch cars would be different from Cup cars, which further discourages Cup drivers from running Busch races.
But I think I may have heard that NASCAR was exploring possibilities of changing to a different car for Busch, but not the COT.

I think if it's good for the cup series it would have to be good for the Busch series as well. It should make it safer, cheaper for the owners and even the playing field some. I also think they should try the chase format to bring a little excitement back to the Busch races at the end of the season.

I would imagine that they would eventually switch over to the new body or not. There really hasnt been anything mentioned as of yet. At any rate I would think they would because the Busch (and Busch will not be the sponsor at the end of this year or next) drivers should really get used to driving that type of vehicle.

I don't know if the Bush Series will run the COT in the near future or not, the Bush Series is different than the Nextel Cup Series, when the Bush series raced at Bristol earlier this year, I was kind of shocked to see that the Bush Series weren't racing the COT like the Nascar Nextel Cup Series were.
