I had to put my beagle down on Monday , I was so upset, don't understand how this could come on so quickly she was fine then all of a sudden she's gone.

I am so sorry for your sudden loss. I did have a wonderful Golden that I bred my self and birthed him myself and had him here with me for 16 1/2 years. He was fine one month and the next thing I knew he collapsed. No warning nothing. I rushed him into our vet and he was in congestive heart failure. In as little as 4 weeks he just went down hill. Granted he was very old for a Golden but he was very healthy for his age. I was devastated. My vet told me that this type of problem can just hap[pen and with no warning and there was no way I could have known anything was really wrong with him. I too had to say a very unexpected good bye to my boy.
I am very sorry for your loss and wish you nothing but good memories of your dog.

I am so sorry for your loss & I know how you feel since I had a Dobie with Cardiomyopathy (heart condition) that I had to let go by euthanazia on June 7, almost two weeks ago. Here is a poem you may want to read http://rainbowsbridge.com/poem.htm Here is a site that may explain the condition to you better than anyone could http://www.2ndchance.info/conghtfaildog.htm

I'm so sorry. I haven't dealt with congestive heart failure but had a similar experience with a dog and cancer. He was fine and then he was not. My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I have had a beautiful chocolate lab die of kidney failure two months after I rescued her from the pound. I like to think that those were her happiest two months of her life.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Sometimes these things seem to come up from no where. I think they hide things from us as long as they can.

I lost my Sheltie like this last yr. She was fine one day then had a stroke, it was a down hill battle after that.

I know this wasn't easy for you.
