I have been having problems with my jaw for quite a while now but my mother thinks its just because I'm still growing. It seems to flare up a lot when I chew gum or when I go swimming. I hate the way it feels. Any advice?

get it checked as soon as possible. I suffered from the same thing quite a while ago, and luckily no longer do. It will get worse if left untreated, so the sooner the better.

I wish I knew because I have the same problem. Sometimes it's sore and pops a lot. It almost feels like it pops out of place and back in, it's gross, and it hurts when I've talked alot, chewed alot or the like. lol. I'm gonna watch out for your responses because I'd like to know, too.

It could be TMJ disorder. Do you get headaches too? Talk to your dentist about it before it gets worse and causes problems. Check out this link for more information.
