I'm trying to get enough protien in my diet but I always find it hard. I've never done a low carb diet however. I am eating no bread or rice and just eating a lot of vegies and fruits that have carbs in it. I have been doing this since sunday and today I had a annoying headache not to painful but just annoying. Is this normal? A bad side effect? Will it go away? Or should I start eating carbs again? Hopefully that last one I wont have to do.

Have you had at least a little bit of sugar in your diet? If you are not following a drastic no-carb diet like Atkin's you shouldn't be getting headaches.
Try to modify it a little and see if your headache goes away, and drink more water, remember dehydration can cause headaches.
Why don't you get the South Beach Diet book and follow that one? It includes a little more carbs and is more nutritionally balanced than cutting carbs on your own.

I did the Atkins diet for a while and I had a headache the first couple days. That' probably what it is. It will go away.

maybe it's the shock that the body gets from suddenly changing your diet... protein is always important so don't take it to low..

the change should be gradual...

my suggestion is go back to you regular eating habit for a day or two then gradually cutting it back

maybe it's just a simple headache. take an asprin and relax. it doesn't have to be a symptom of something else.
