I'm a 26 yr old female in good health. Had a blood test in March that was normal (just borderline anemic but I dont eat red meat). Lately though, I've had this pain in my bones, and have noticed random bruises that last for a couple days then fade.(I'm the type of person who could run into the wall over and over and not bruise!!) I've been ridiculiously tired, and some days am really dizzy. I just feel strange. I keep getting headaches which I used to never get. And I'm never hungry anymore. I feel lke a HUGE hypochondriac, and dont want to return to the MDs because I feel like a hypochondriac and just had a blood test in march (it's june). Any sugestions or am I crazy?!

You're not crazy and you should return to the doctor. You may be fully anemic as the_only_solorose said. Not to indicate that you do, but I know of two individuals who had the same symptoms that ended up having something more serious. What matters right now is that your body is telling you something isn't entirely right and your best bet is to go find out what the problem is.

Your issue may be your inability to absorb and metabolize iron, an iron supplement would do nothing more for you than licking a rusty nail! If you cannot metabolize it supplements will do you know good.

Check for Lukemia or Lymphoma, too. Those can manifest the same symptoms.

Blood tests are inaccurate!

You need a saliva test to find out your hormone panel.

A urine test to find out your vitamin/mineral deficiencies.

You need a hair analysis to find any heavy metal toxicities.

Message me so that I can ask you questions and figure out what happened and tell tell you what you can do to take charge of your health.

My partner in our practice is a PH D in nutrition and we've turned many, many lives around.

If you are suddenly bruising easily, it could be anything from your liver to and iron defiancy. Try taking an iron supplement. At first you might be constipated so start out slowly. If it does not get better, you need to go back. Sometimes when we see the doctor one week nothing is wrong but the next week something else develops. You are not crazy, he gets paid for it.

I understand the need to not feel or be seen as a hypochondriac, but you need to see the doc again soon. Explain these new developments. If he doesn't listen or makes you feel uncomfortable for wanting to know why, then seek out another doc who will listen. It may be something simple, and no big deal. but you symptoms could lead to something more serious.

if you were borderline in March, you are showing all the signs of being severely anemic now. I would get some good iron supplements from your local drug store and see if you feel better after about a week of taking them, if not, you had better see the doc again.

Take a multivitamin and see a doctor. If you don't eat a lot of meat and aren't taking care of your nutrition, iron deficiency anemia can really hurt you.
