I think the brides gift right before the wedding should be serious and loving. Its shows your feelings about the coming ceremony. well as a BtB thats how i feel at least. Maybe a handkerchief with an embroidered message (she probably will start crying lol it will come in handy) or a piece of jewlery like a pendant or something she can pin on the inside of her gown close to her heart with an engraved message. (i say pendant because no doubt she'll have all her other jewlery already picked out :). it really depends on your personalitys and relationship. Maybe a locket she can bind to her bouquet or her garter and you carry the key to that locket pinned to your lapel. but really all these ideas are my personal opinions and it really all depends on what you and your BTB want from the ceremony. whether its laughs, tears, or you just want to be serious... whatever you think she'll love and always remember. I'm getting my GTB engraved cuff links with our wedding date and a personal message. :) Good Luck!! and congratulations!!!

Does she plan on wearing the necklace at the wedding? if so, maybe the next best thing is a pearl bracelet or pearl earrings to complement the necklace her parents already purchased- or a watch with your wedding date and "i love you every second of every day' engraved on the back so it is a daily reminder no matter what time of the day you love her.I hope this helps- congrats and good luck!

The first thing that came to my mind was a day-spa treatment (massage, facial, manicure, hair styling, etc ) to spoil her. The other idea would be something special framed for your bedroom, such as, a favorite poem or words of a song that you share that has sentimental meaning to you.
If there is a favorite artist that she likes, maybe an original or signed/numbered print nicely framed...
If there is a family heirloom that she had her eye on, acquire it for her.....
Fix up a nice photo album of her, as she was growing up, with pics of ancestors (grandparents, gr.grandparents), nicely written notes added, showing her as she grew up, with extra pages to add your wedding and future kiddo's.
Ticket to a special concert or trip to a special place she always wanted to go see........
This is hard. You know her best. Good luck and blessings on your forthcoming marriage!

first of all you have a LIFETIME to get her good gifts silly goose! second. hmmm jewlery is the best bet.. a bracelet to match the necklace that she could wear, or maybe like a small formal clock (something you can place on a shelf) engraved with a line about being together until time runs out - thats cute.. my hubby gave me my necklace when he bought it b/c i picked it out, but the morning of he sent roses to the house i was getting ready that said "see you at 1" (thats when our ceremony started! just be sweet.. she already likes you shes marrying you, you cant screw it up if you go from the heart

Maybe a nice pearl bracelet to go with the necklace.
A nice watch (Cartier, Rolex,), diamond stud earrings, a nice handbag, a trip to a spa, a second honeymoon, or hint around and see what she would like.
along with a poem from your heart and some roses or other flowers.
Congrats and Best wishes with the wedding:)

I hope your jeweler will let you make an exchange! How disappointing that must have been for you!
Another option would be a locket, with a picture of you inside it. You could have it engraved with the date of the wedding, and some touching words.
