You need to allow at least another week or 2 for the 2005 return to show on the IRS computer as received. The normal processing time frame for a paper return is 6 to 8 weeks, You can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 or 1-800-829-0922 Mon-Fri from 7 am to 10pm

You probably can't yet. If it's arrived at the IRS, it's almost surely still sitting in a pile somewhere waiting to be entered into a computer.
You're over 14 months late, and a week later you're getting impatient? Chill a little.

Call the IRS or visit their website.
Relax, it will take at least a month before you receive your refund. You filed the tax return over a year late, why are you in a rush now?
