JR leaving has opened DEI's eyes. Even though they won't have JR they have already made good moves. They have already teamed with RCR for engines. They are in talks with Kyle Busch. And Truex Jr. is showing signs of a bright future. DEI will be fine, it is just sad that it took JR's leaving for them to make some moves regarding the garage. (NO Kerry won't drive the #8 Bud car)

DEI was winning races and championships long before Dale ever climbed in a seat. Martin Truex is doing a very nice job and will continue to do so. Dale Jr - two wins in the last 2 1/2 years doesn't add up to Mr Wonderful.

I think that DEI will be okay, when Martin Truex Jr won at Dovor two weeks ago not only did he prove that he can win he also proved that DEI can win without Dale Jr, and Truex has proved that win wasn't a fluke, he has backed that win up with a 3rd at Pocono, and 2nd at Michigan on Sunday, when Dale Earnhardt Jr announced that he was leaving DEI a lot of people thouhgt that DEI would die, but in my eyes with the way Martin Truex has been running over the past three races DEI is going to be okay.

There is no reason to think that Teresa will be ANY different to Truex or Bush when/if he signs with DEI. She is a greedy owner who only cares about herself.

I don't think DEI is dead without Jr., but it will NOT be the same without him.

Prediction: Jr. races for HMS for 5 years, wins a couple of titles, then comes and buys DEI out from Teresa.

I think losing Jr has opened their eyes and checkbooks. Martin Truex Jr is doing much better. I think they are shelling out more money on his team. I think they will get a good driver to replace Jr. and they will do fine.

With the look of things to come from Martin, ABSOLUTELY!! I'm looking forward to it and to see if Paul Menard will do just as well.

Rock on MARTIN!!!

It's not like they were riding a wave of success with him. So yea, they should continue to lag behind HMS and Gibbs just the same without him...
