Somehow, I bet they don't really care.
Just a hunch.

Dear Ryan,
In many uprisings and revolutions the weapons of the masters have been used by the oppressed in their uprising, that is because they often don't have any of their own (being they are not part of the millitary industrial complex). As such you question is trivial and insipid, when ther eis much more important questions that need addressing. People from the US are being killed in Irak, but in much smaller numbers than the local inhabitants. The US army is charged with the job of bringing peace to Irak and they seem to be trying and failing. If you were a person on the street and your neighbor and his family was blown up by a bomb that came out of nowhere, what would you do? What would your reaction be? What if you can home to find your own family disintegrated, house in rubble, car a burnt out shell? Now you have very little to live for and probably a desire for revenge. It is unlikely if you were a christian that you would be focusing on the passages in the bible that urge peace and harmony and good will to all men. This is the situation for civilians generally in these war torn countries, we should be trying to help these people not bunch them in with throat cutting, self serving, totalitarian anarchists who do their level best to keep the misery going, your next question should be formulated on a better understanding of the difficulties of life and the suffering that can drive civilian people to take up arms against the stormtroopers in heavy armor who level their homes and kill their children in the name of peace. Which gun maker would you use to defend yourself in a crisis?

George Orwell's "1984", which was written back in 1948, talks about the changing of sides and the alterations of history. If you ignore the drama line in the book and just look at the content, you will see that this was know to come to be back when WWII ended and Israel was created. This conflict is approximately 60 years old.

The terrorist are radical Muslims. As such they interpret the Koran as they please. For instance, if two laws or two issues conflict, they are both right. There is no attempt to be fair or logical. They truly have it both ways. The only thing that they all agree on is that they should kill the infidels at every opportunity when there is a conflict between the two religions (Islam and et al). Hypocritical indeed don't you think?

Well, This may not really answer your question...but how about how hypocritical we are? Or is it just ignorance?
A Fact...It was reported on the news recently that we are now going to arm the insurgents (who have been blowing up our soldiers) with weapons in Iraq if they agree to use them only to kill al-Qaida !!!!...Now why suddenly do we think we can trust any terrorists with our own weapons with just their word they will not use them on us? Is it because of their good character, integrity, stability and warmth? War is illogical and often important decisions are being made by idiots.
