is it the same as adult teeth or dose it look different??

my daughter is 3 and I brush her teeth every day but she has a white spot on one of her molars. is that normal?

ALL DECAY WHETHER IT APPEARS ON BABY TEETH OR ADULT TEETH BEGIN BY A VERY SMALL OPAQUE WHITE SPOT WHICH AS IT DE-CALCIFIES BECOMES A DARKER ZONE ULTIMATELY BECOMING SOFT AND DARK.

Visually, if you can see decay, then it has progressed far enough that it needs attention by a dentist. However, many times, in young childrens teeth, other common abnormalities may be present that may not necessarily indicate a cavity at all.

They look the same as an adult cavity.

a cavity is a cavity, black and icky and what's more, gone unattended cavities in 'baby' teeth can affect adult teeth as well.
