Any good tips if you have to park your beloved car on the street?

Since we only have 1 garage parking but now we have 2 cars both are relatively new - we have to park one car outside overnite everyday, do you have any tips that I can keep my car as clean as possible and safe?

p.s luckily it's a friendly/safe neigborhood.

If there is a streetlight where you park it park it right under there (this will deter thieves)
Also it wont do any harm to buy a car cover that way it can protect your car from the elements, fading from the sun, trash blowing, cars throwing up dirt, gravel, stones etc etc

When on sloping streets/roads anywhere, park real close to the curb(about 6"?) and turn your front wheels in such a way that should your car rolls down on its own after u get out, imovement is arrested by one of the front wheel against the curb. Fit a warning device or even a small blinking device where it is easily seen, inside the car. Double, treble check the doors are closed- locked. Do not put your remote-control key straight-away into your pockets or bag but only after u pass the operable range- 50-100metres? It varies after a while. Be very aware otherwise your whole world will collapse when u return and find your beloved car lying in a canal submerged or even missing! Wish u many years of incident-free motoring.

Park one car in the garage and the other in the driveway.
I've seen too many times that a car on the street gets vandalized by some jerk kids driving by.

Safely and check the location. do not allow yourself to be unprotected on return.
Also check the drives and colors of the other neighbor cars if there are dents and dings and color matches you have a challenge.
