please help me with this dream i had?

Question

5 years ago i had this dream and i need help with understanding it

i was walking down the road where i live and my friend sean was speeding up to me on his moped and told me he needs to get me home because i was in trouble because a man was after me
i get on his moped with him and he tock me home

i woke up that morning and the dream was really bugging me about 3 hours later i was told that sean had died that night
i really do need to understand this dream as its been 5 years since he died and im no closer to figgering out what it means

yeah we were close we knew each other since we were 5 he died when he was 18 and he died in his sleep in the next house from me so as i was dreaming that he was either dead in the next room or was dying
i saw him the day before he died and i never got to say good bye to him

Hun,

Sometimes you get glimpses, or feelings or dreams about something or someone. And then something happens, unrelated to what the dream might have actually been about. But two things that stand out is him being in the dream, and saying there was some sort of danger. I'd say that in an obscure way you predicted him dying.
The other interpretation I could think of is if Sean was worried about you having something to do with some sort of dangerous guy in your life. Maybe it was a message to get away quick.

Your dream seems to point to Sean having some knowledge about you being in danger, that you were not aware of. And, the time before his death, you associating with him guided you out of harms ways. Walking on the road represents moving on a path to destination very slowly. However, the moped represents having the means to get somewhere more quickly. So, your eventual path would have put you in line with this "man" who was looking for you. But your friendship with Sean provided access and quicker way for you to get out of harms way. God used Sean as a intecessor for you as his last task and then took him "home".

I even had a dream that my family dog had come to visit me while I was in the Navy. We were very close growing up and he never got over me moving out. In the dream he was crying over my prone body. I woke up crying and my wife told me to call home. My parents didn't want to tell me but yes, my old friend had just died.

If an animal spirit can connect like that, how much closer is the spirit of a man?

Are you sure it was a dream and not some kind of premonition? When a major event happens to one of us or family my sister usually gets a 'visit' from one of our dead relatives.
I know this doesn't really help but I think perhaps it was Seans way of saying goodbye and that he will always be looking out for you (ie from bad men)

I'm no expert, but to me the dream meant you trusted Sean. After all HE protected you in the dream. I don't think it was a SIGN that something was going to happen to him. It just happened that you had a dream about him the same night he died. If he hadn't died and you had the same dream what would the dream mean to you?

I have read that many dreams' topics come from things you may have been thinking right before you fall asleep. Could you have been thinking of Sean before falling asleep? It doesn't seem your dream had anything negative towards him. It seems he was a positive influence somehow in your life. Good luck

Do you think he might of died whilst you where sleeping and he came to you enjoying what he liked to do (on his moped). Sometimes things like that happen if you are really close to someone. He might of just been saying goodbye.

How did he die? I think it was a sign that he will always look out for you, he was trying to get you home, did this event make you change the way you lived or did things? have you had any other dreams close to the same, or of the same nature?

how did sean die?? anyhow dreams can mean all sorts of things i guess. Were u guys very close??? Maybe u intended to tell him something but never got the chance. Maybe u need to talk to a professional considering its 5 years and u haven't fully dealt with it??
