Get your hair cut low buy a good stiff natural bristlle brush and a can of wave grease. With good hair the waves should pop right in.

Products you will need to get started:
A boar bristle brush
wave cap
pomade(sportin'wave)
wave cream( Spin n' wave)
U need to get a boar bristled brush..the stiffer the bristles the better..and it is all about the product you use also...try this product called Spin'nWaves..it is a wave cream and let me just say my waves are banging..and I am a female and everyday I get TONS of compliments on my hair..My son and husband got me hooked on it..it is a wave builder and it does work and you brush your hair and use a durag and a wave cap and you will be quite pleased with the results considering you should start at nite before you go to bed so that by morning your hair has begun to be molded and you will see your waves from the crown of your head to the nape of your neck and like I said before you will be quite pleased...

I'm a man wit 360s. wave grease aka pomade will just make the waves that you already have look better by laying your hair down and giving it a nice shine. brush 45+ minutes a day and go to this site to become a 360s expert like me http://360waves.net be sure to brush your top forward, sides slanting downwards starting from your crown and back straight down. also be sure to use a moisturizer daily. I brush 2-3 hours a day and my waves r spinnin like crazy.
