I know exactly what can help fix the problem! I used to have terrible skin, very acne prone and oily, until I recently got on a consistent skin clearing regimen. I tried Proactive, and although it worked miracles for a week, after a week I was back to where I started, only I had wasted about $60 on the starter kit! I finally decided to tackle this embarassing problem when I was at a tennis match and was embarassed to show my face.
This works. You need to wash your face twice a day, after you wake up and before you go to bed. If you workout and sweat, make sure to wash your face and get all of the sweat, dirt, oil, and sebum that has been secreted from your facial pores. Wash your face with Burts Bees Chamomile and Bark Deep Cleansing Cream face wash. Use warm water, not hot water, as that can irritate acne prone skin!
After you wash your face for atleast one minute, use Olay Refreshing Skin Toner. Apply to one or two cotton balls, and after drying your face, apply the toner. Directions for applying are on the back of the bottle. In the summer time especially, DO NOT apply a moisturizer. The toner will moisturize your skin enough. However, if you see dry skin spots on your face, apply an OIL FREE face moisturizer, like Olay Sensitive Skin Oil Free moisturizer.
You do not need to see a dermatologist! You will spend crazy amounts of unnecessary money on it, and all the face products are the same. The Burts Bees face wash is about $8 at drug stores. The Olay toner is about $3 at WalMart, and the Olay moisturizer (optional) is about $5 at WalMart also!
Good luck, and remember to drink plenty of water. DO NOT pop your pimples, and if you absolutely need to make sure that there is a whitehead on the pimple or else it WILL NOT pop. It will only create a huge red scar, which I am sure you do not want! Say hello to your new beautiful, clear and fresh skin!

I know, being a teen is rough sometimes! But you shouldn't give up! What I'm going to do it give you a bunch of recommendations. Now, these products and tips I'm going to give you are not pricey nor hard to keep up with so no worries. 1. Drink lots of water, and I mean lots! Water keeps skin hydrated and keep your skin clear. + also try drinking green tea ! 2. Exercise! Just trust me ;) 3. Don't eat or drink greasy/sugary things. At least keep it on the down low because those foods make your skin oily and break out easily and fast. Avoid pop, candy, fried foods and fast food. 5. Wash your face no more than 2 times a day. In the morning and before you go to bed. 6. Try wearing makeup no longer than 8 hours a day. 7. DON'T touch your face or pick on it. On your fingers and in your nails there are lots of germs and bacteria that may affect your face when touched. 8. When treating acne try more natural remedies at home. Don't go for the chemically filled products - they don't work well and dry out your skin. 9. Stress level must go down. Many people breakout because of stress. 10. Accept it and accept yourself! If you have a bit of acne, it wont be there forever and lots of people your age have it! You're not the only one ! Here are products that I use: I had some body breakouts and I used : BODY CLEAR® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit by Neutrogena and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray which worked really well. For my face I use : Clean and Clear advantage blackhead clearing astringent and tea tree skin clearing foaming cleanser which is from the Body Shop in Canada, so if you live in Canada your in luck if you want to get it. Otherwise, try getting something natural and/or oil-free. Exfoliating (you should do like 3 times a week) : Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub Mask (twice a week) : Honey and Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask from The Body Shop . Find a mask that will work for you ! All masks work pretty well. I like the one I used because it cleanses, polishes and moisturizes. For healing acne scars : I use vitamin E oil for it fades scars and promotes faster healing. *Hope this works for you! If it doesn't work the way you wished, consider visiting a dermatologist ! GOOD LUCK!

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://acnehomesolution.com that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Whatever you use on your face be GENTLE. You certainly don't need acne pits on your face. There are strips for blackheads and decent medicine for acne but DO NOT scrub the areas.

Go to any makeup counter at the mall and ask what they would suggest. It's easier than going to a dermatologist and you generally will end up getting the same products to cure the problem at a much lower price!

A blackhead clearing scrub.
Clean and Clear has one you can get at the supermarket that's maybe four dollars.
At home masks. You can get those at the supermarket too.
Or cleansing strips, if they tend to be on your nose

You can stream your face and then massage it with lemon juice, honey, and plain yogart (i'm serious it works!). Then cut up a tomato and put it on your face or wash it with cucumber juice. To stop oil mash up an apple and use it as a face mask. hope i helped!
