I hope that doesn't give you the impression that all people are hateful, cynical, negative and homophobic. I certainly love you and still love others despite their sins and demons.
It isn't easy to love someone who destroys life or the pursuit of a happy life. But, it is our responsibility to love them and try to make them feel better about themselves and less bitter about those around them. All we can do is be a better person for them to witness and hope that they are inspired by our example.
