It depends on the type she is. For example, shy girls seem to hide their feelings and almost all the time, you will never know she likes you. Shy girls normally have friends tell the guy that they like them, for they cannot do it themselves. The outgoing types will be the first to notice. They stare at you for afar and they try the best they can to become friends. But some outgoing girls are impatient and go right for their target. Some may send notes in that guy's locker saying 'clues' or 'hints' of who they are, and expect that guy to find out. Then there are some girls who are kind of bullies, and will pick on the guy they like. That guy may think they hate them, but it's the total opposite. Then again, the shy girls may push themselves to say to that guy her feelings, but it usually doesn't go that way if she really likes him....but there are so many types of girls that have different ways of being known that she has a crush on a guy. Some guys are JUST playing around when they seem like they are flirting. But then, some guys seem like they are playing around when really, they ARE flirting! Yes, its very confusing! Just try to talk to him more and get to know him better. That way, you can figure out if he's really flirting. Either way, flirt back :P

She will look at you so you can see her doing it then smile. they will think of random topics just to talk to you. they will talk to the person next to you just to be next to you or get into your conversation. You will notice she will try to be cool with your friends in some cases to earn points with you.
they laugh at your jokes. they gaze into your eyes when you talk. When you talk about your ideal girl or if you like a girl, they closely pay attention.
When you look at her from a far distance, she waves, or if shes with her friends she'll wave and laugh with her friends.
she'll try to touch you when your conversating. She will write her phone number on your hand with a black ink sharpee (with her name) when you hint for her number(happened to me, lol)
She will do things for you and show she's happy to do it.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: She will talk to you in a different flirty voice than any other guy, so watch for this. its really easy to know.
Be cool and smooth. Dont get a big head when its apparent she likes you. be grounded and treat her right. be flirty back and keep it tasteful. if you dont like her, dont be an *** to her, your rep will be ****** up with alot of chicks at your school. cuz girls talk.

She giggles at almost everything, finds opportunities to touch you casually (like putting her hand on your arm while talking), smiles at you a LOT, is caught staring at you, blushes, and doodles hearts and eyes on paper while you talk to her.
