(we're both 14),but to make matters worse i think that her mom is going with us to the bowling alley.but im not completely sure of it.(her moms picking me up) what should i do if her mom does come will it pay off .1 of the reasons im worried is because her mom might want to drop me off at home early or something like that and she maybe an over protective parent. what should i do? how should i act? is there anything i can do to impress the parents?

If their daughter is 14 and this her first date, then they should be protective. When it comes to their little girl, you are guilty until proven innocent. I suggest you treat her like you would want your sister treated if you had one. Being well mannered and not acting like a thug-turd can only help you. Remember the golden rule. Those that have the gold make the rules. If you like this girl then she is the gold and the Queen can cut you off real fast.

Good luck.

if her mom does come with you guys, just be as polite as you can and dont act stupid but dont make it sound fake. if she drops you off early dont make a fuss because that will just make you look bad in front of her mom. if her mom is really going with you guys she is probably making sure you are a nice sweet respectable guy for her daughter. and once the date is over the next day comes and that night you can ask her to go somewhere else with you and offer for your parents to drive because her parents drove the last time. that way your parents since you are the guy wont even bother to come with you so i wouldnt worry about it. the girl already likes you so just use tonight to impress her mom. but dont ignore your girlfriend either and you will be totally fine.

I would have to say that as far as impressing the parents, just be yourself. Don't come off as cocky. Don't get pissed if Mom comes along, and definitely don't pull attitude if Mom calls it an early night for both of you. If you are at bowling alley with Mom and girlfriend, treat your girlfriend with respect. Listen to what she says, talk kindly and Mom will like you for that alone. If she sees your a decent guy, chances are date #2 will be minus Mom.

You may not want to hear this but you are still young. Its ok that the mom is picking you up if she does go to the bowling ally with you just act like you would if she wasn't there. Things will be just fine you are just getting worked up over nothing. Also make sure that you open the door for your girl friend and us your Ps and Qs moms like that alot.

If her mom comes with you, just act like it's no big deal. I know it's annoying, but she may just be worried about her daughter. Teenage boys aren't known for having noble intentions, after all. Be polite - open doors and pull out chairs and all that type of thing. Don't give her any reason to distrust you. If you do all of this, the time will come when she trusts you and allows you to go out alone with her daughter. Good luck!

Just act like you are interested in meeting her. SHow her also you like her daughter by asking on the bowling what do you guys want to drink or eat? Just act normal and honest that is the best way to impress. ALso, you girlfrind would like that you are interested in her family as well, which will help later on if you are serious about the relation.

Be respectful to your g/f and mom
No Public affection (at least not infront of the mom)
Even if she does drop you off early, remember to have manners and say thank you!!
Remember that at 14, parents really have to look out for their children. Just play it cool and be patient. Eventually you will have some alone time with her. Ok ;)

Be polite, be respectful of her and her daughter. I understand you don't want her mom to come I mean who does. If she does don't freak out. Show her how charming and lovable and romantic you can be while treating her daughter that way. Once she sees how nice you are she most likely wont mind you two going out alone. She will start to like you. If her mother doesn't show still treat the girl with the same respect and kindness as if her mother was there.

well dress nice. and be polite to her parents. if the mom does come with, dont start dropping f bombs everywhere when you miss in bowling. its your first date so its okay if they drop you off eariler. if this date goes over well then maybe the next the mom will trust you enough to just go alone. first impressions are VERY important...so make it good!

The way to enjoy your date is to be yourself. Trying to impress her parents will only make you seem fake. Be charming...don't over do it. Your concerns about her mother being over protective shouldn't be a pressing issue at this time. To gain trust will require you to respect her and her mother's wishes even if that means crashing a date or ending it early.
