Run 400s in 65 seconds or less. Do 10 on days when you do this. Also do ladders 400, 800, 1200, mile, and back down. A couple of times a week do a long run and rest at least one day per week.

Keep running. 7 weeks is a real push for shaving 2 minutes off a 2 mile time. So train A LOT! Running as much as possible is the only way to build stamina. Work on speed too. Leg strength, the whole deal. It's gonna be tough but with a good honest effort, you can do it

Run the first mile in 5:59. Run the second in 6:00. Just kidding. Do 400's, 800's and 1600's on the track all at 6 minute mile pace. jog 400 meters after each one. This will get your body comfortable to running 6 minute miles. Also do tempo runs. Example: a 6 mile run run the first two relaxed then run the middle two at a fast tempo. Run the last two relaxed again.

First of all, how old are you? How tall? What is your build? HOW MUCH TIME CAN YOU INVEST PER-DAY? I ran 4:04 at age 19. I was running 32 miles a day for a 1500m race. I ran 8:53 two mile at age 21 for the U.S. Army. You need to pound the miles now. You have to run twice a day at least 10 miles in the morning and 3 miles at night plus 200m x 10, sprints every day.

Well it mostly depends on the course u r running in. U divided into parts like one part u will jog and the other part u sprint and just keep doing it over and over again.

I could probly do that, but keep practicing and if your side starts to hurt, press on it for about 30 sec.
