Mom's unite!!! The 'Stay At Home' ones, well.....the difference is only that they are 'available' more, and seem to have more 'family' on their minds...vs. the Working Mom, she will need to juggle more, may be able to juggle more and have more 'resources' to information and funds, which also gives more self-esteem and confidence to handle the harder issues....practice makes perfect....Both get my respect, am Stay at home myself for a number of years, and I do what I please ALL day long....nice huh?, well, not always.....too easy to fall into 'depression' and get 'out of touch' with the 'real world'.....and looked down upon by the 'rest of the working world'.....all in all.....Mom's (good ones) deserve the highest respect....regardless.....(smile)

Its one of the hardest jobs there is, I've been there and done that its killer. Its also never ending there's always something else that needs to be done. And when your husband comes home from working all day he's through but your not, its endless . And some think its easy that you have all day to play around and have fun or do what ever. Stay at home moms can find there job very rewarding and happy about what they accomplish and proud of it but very tiring as well. So that's my answer, and i could most likely write a book about stay at home moms.

i work from home and take care of my 3 kids 2 yrs & 3 month old twins i wouldnt trade it for anything, i dont trust day care or babysitters i dont know, and i dont know how some people put ads in the paper for babysitters, thats a risk im not willing to take, plus my mom is always here, this world is too creepy, so id rather stay home with my kids, plus i have a job i do from home and go into the office 2xs a week and my hubby is off on those days so it just works out, but there is nothing wrong with stay at home moms,i think its safer for the kids and the family, i wouldnt want anyone outside of family to raise my kids.

I think they deserve an award. They do all the work. They keep the family together. I think they aren't given the credit that they are due. I don't know how my mom did it when I was a kid. Three kids, desserts and meals from scratch and helped run a small hobby farm. I think that it would be very lonely though, not having the interaction with adults, as you would have if you had a job out of the house. Congratulations! All the best.

I think stay at home moms should be treated with great respect . they are the ladies that will raise the children not to be hip hop gangster rapers and rob banks and rape women .
most if not all women that have children and a living husband should stay at home until all of the children in the family have graduated from at least high school.

We do way too much, its like the hardest job you can imagine, but 24 hours a day with no money and no vacation. Pretty much slave labor. I love my baby but I'm getting a job just to get a break. Work will be like time off. Being on the job 24 hours a day is more than I can handle and I get 30 minutes on the computer a day and a 10 minute shower. I had unreasonable expectations like playing all day and laughing and learning, watching tv, surfing the net, taking naps. Barely one single bit of it. More like crying, sleeping, diapers, baths, cleaning, diapers, crying, cleaning, diapers, crying, cleaning. AHHH!!! Go back to work, save your sanity :)

I think that stay at home moms are one of the best things a child could have! I feel lucky doing it and I'm glad that I can, because there are a lot of women who can't.

i feel they clean diapers, wash the kids, make meals, do the laundry, vacuum, do the dishes, check homework problems, run to target to get the project materials little timmy needs for his volcano, make dinner, say hi to the spouse/boyfriend when they come home and ask about their day
they do A LOT and that is not even the half of it :) much respect

stay at home moms have one of the hardest jobs in the world! They take care of the kids, clean and cook. You have to be a multi-tasker!

i think if you are happy staying at home and being with kids then thats great, but i hope it is what YOU want. so often we see women who dont go to work because the husband believe women should be at home. if you are happy that is all that is important for you and your children.
