cardiac contusion can also cause hypotension.
pneumothrax, pulmonary fat emboli (if you've got broken bones) can also do it.
with spinal cord injury, you can have spinal shock as well.

To keep your blood pressure up in the normal range it's very useful to have it inside the blood vessels. Once it exits your blood vessels it's not available for its intended purposes.
