I'm a Pibb gal myself, with Dr. Pepper coming in a close second. The main difference between them is Pibb is a Coke product and Dr. Pepper is a Pepsi product.

As far as flavors go, since that is kept somewhat a secret, they both have a black cherry plum-like flavor. Pibb to me is more tangy/fruity/spicier, while Dr. Pepper seems more robust/rootbeer-ish.

Though I don't quite agree, the comic Mitch Hedburg said it perfectly: "Mr. PiBB is a replica of Dr. Pepper, but it's a bullsh*t replica. Dude didn't even get his degree." ;) haha...

I've heard that Dr. Pepper actually uses a plum flavoring.
