A JPEG file is a compressed picture file that was either taken by you and downloaded to your computer by camera, CD, Jump Drive, Memory card, etc.. or downloaded from the internet. I am sure windows 2000 has some JPEG'S inbedded in its OS, such as the files used for the different background images. Do a search and type in *.jpeg and it will find anything JPEG.....

jpeg is a type of immage (picture). Jpeg is commonly used on web pages. There is no jpeg file as such.

Go too google, choose images, and search and destroy :-)
