The cheapest cruise would be a 2 or 3 day cruise on any of the major cruise lines like Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, or Celebrity. This link is a typical cruise for 3 days and as you will see on the link the prices vary by date and range from $250 to $500.

There will be similar prices on other cruise lines in general in or around these same prices.

You won't be going to mexico from Miami, but a 3 or 4 day trip to the Bahamas for two can be had for a few hundred dollars. (longer trips usually visit the caribbean, but you can still find great deals) My fav place for deals is vacationstogo.com (but you have to call after you have basic prices)

It also depends on WHEN you're going. Summer is on the expensive side (summer vacation), fall is cheap (hurricanes and kids are back in school).

Go to one of the travel sites (travelocity, orbitz) and "play" with your dates, etc. Carnival is cheaper, but Royal Caribbean's Majesty or Monarch of the Seas are older ships with better prices - they are just as wonderful as the newer ones; I enjoy them because they're smaller.

have fun! Just "GET OUT THERE!"

carnival or royal Caribbean. carnival will probably be a little cheaper, but royal Caribbean will be a little nicer. I believe Majesty of the seas is the royal Caribbean ship. It has been newly refurbished to the tune of 34 million.
