It differs between the people. For some people it takes about two weeks, but for other people, it could take only one day. If you are really pale in the winter, then it usually takes longer for it to turn into a tan. But, if you are usually tan in the winter, then it takes much less time for a sunburn to turn into a tan.

It depends on the person and the burn. For me a mild burn will tan overnight to one day. If it's pretty bad it can take up to a week, but I am pretty tan and tan really quickly. If you are lighter complected it can take longer for bad burns up to about 10 days. Mild burns maybe 3-5 days.

Sunburns don't turn into tans, They turn dry, red, and peely. And it gets you closer to skin cancer. Try using really good sunscreens, and you can get no burns.
