i download the program at www.free-codecs.com and i got a question. After the 6 month trail is over, do I have to paid or not? if so, can i download the same program over and over agaiin or do i still have to paid??

Why do you download from sites other than from the manufacturer? Some sites take clean programs and bundle them with spyware and viruses.

Free trials last different amounts of time. Once the free trial is over you do NOT have to pay for it. But, you also may not keep downloading it over and over again. When your free trial expires uninstall it from your computer through 'My Computer' and find another program willing to give you a free trial. You see the program memorizes your computer's Identification number. And, the site will let you download it again but will repeatedly say your free trial has ended.

There are free video players like VLX Player that has the codex and doesn't require any payment.

go to www.videolan.com (or .org) and download VLCplayer for free. this is the best program that can read almost every mediafile
