I would like to add that they do not serve the same God.
Christians serve the God of Moses,Abraham and Jacob. The one true God.
Muslims worship the moon God or the Lunar God.
To Christians the moon god is a Pagan belief and to the Muslims the Christian God was killed by their moon God.

Harold A,
There are so many uninformed people out there and that's really sad.
In most Muslim Countries the Holy Bible and the Torah are not allowed.
If anyone is caught with one they are immediately put to death.
And if a Muslim wants to leave the religion and convert to another that is not allowed either and the person will also be put to death.
Even Muslims who live here in America risk their lives if they leave the religion.
So it is not a tolerant religion and it is one that I have studied so as not to be fooled when someone lies to me about it.

Liz,they do not pray to the same God.
They worship the Moon God and believe a long time ago their Moon God killed all other Gods including the one true God that Christians worship.
They also believe that their Moon God is who created all things and Adam and Eve were Muslim along with Jesus Christ,Moses and Abraham.
They also believe that us infidels came about through Isaac's blood line and their blood line continued on through Abraham's first son Ishmael.
Do your homework and study the facts for yourself and you will be amazed at how warped they have gotten everything.

Mainly NO but sort of.

Christianity is the belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Muslims do not believe in him to be the son of the living God.

HOWEVER
Muslims believe in the God of Abraham, and if Christ is a triune part of God (the father, son and holy spirit) and considering the God of Judaism and Christianity is the God of Muslims too....

Then in a round about confusing way, to a Christian, a muslim worships the son unknowingly because Christ is part of God which is the God of Abraham...

Ok now I'm confused.

To be a Christian means you follow the word of the living God, the Bible. The Quran was created many years even after the Bible was written and contradicts the word of God. You can not serve two masters as the Bible declares, and to follow the one would mean not to follow the other. It is simple.

No, to say that there is three gods or making a prophet of god into a son and or god takes you out of Islam, meaning you are not muslim if you believe these things.

Well, I do not belive you can be comletely both religions but yes, at the end of the day they are praying to the same god. I took a class on world religions this past year and learned that it is only a myth that they pray to different gods.

No, since being a Christian means to become Christlike. Muslims study and worship Mohammed.

Politically no. Spiritually...yes. Easily. The same prophets are worshipped in both religions.

ADDED:

Sounds to me like you have got hold of some seriously bigoted information. If you knew your preferred outcome...why did you bother to ask the question in the first place?

You can't adhere to two separate doctrines, so religiously you couldn't, but if you choose to believe in a bit of both then that is a blending of spirituality. See, we shouldn't be all for the messengers, we should pay attention to the message.

I don't know, but Michael Savage is poison on the airwaves. He is one man KKK. He hates everyone. One of the worst Human beings the US has to offer.

Surely, you can find a better source for news and information, like a newspaper.

Yeah, its called easy-believism. Believe whatever you want adn be happy. Doesn't necessarily make it true! How can you believe one part of something that is said to be "absolute"truth and not believe the other half? It doesn't make sense.
