If your child was bitten by a snake and was going to die, would you give him antivenom? That's playing god, too.
Man is a part of nature. It is our nature to invent and experiment.

Should humans play god... No. Should humans try to perfect themselves so life can become better...yes. They sound the same don't they? But when it comes down to stem-cell research and abortion and anything that requires death of something for the ease or survival for another that is where it gets confusing. God tells Moses "though shall not kill" but at the same time 1 stem-cell, you kill more cell when you take 1 sip of alcohol, may lead scientist to find a way to save a 3 year burn victim a horrible life. Is it worth it? I think it is only when a little evil/wrong act will lead to a great/ wonderful act.

God gave us the intelligence to think, and be creative and make things work for people to survive and live a better life. Not all people can be doctors and not all people can be scientists. We have to watch what we do that over steps the bounderies of God! If something may work, but does it work for God and what He wants? That is what makes half the stuff in the world wrong!

Humans have been mastering evolution for tens of thousands of years. The vast majority of the food you eat has evolved by artificial selection at the hands of man.

I have no issues at all with IVF
no one should be childless if it can be avoided....
and lets be honest
if we are to believe that there is a God who creates souls and gives life....... then these children would not be born if it was against Gods will
cloning on the other hands has many ethical problems
and I dont agree with that for many reasons

According to the word of God, it is blasphemy to do so. "The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." Jn 10:33. Claiming to be able to forgive sins is also considered blasphemy in the word of God. "Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?" Mk 2:7.

If you were unable to have children but desperately wanted them you would thank God for IVF.
Cloning I reserve judgment because I don't know enough about it.
