ok, so i like this boy. Hes really sweet to me & i love being around him. Hes asked me out a few times, but i keep saying no, mostly because my friends say hes a jierk and pressures girls into akward situation and all told me that if i ever said yes, they'd never talk to me again. The problem is, that as weird as it sounds, im addicted to him. hes all i can think about, and when we talk on the computer and i see its him messaging me, i get a funny feeling. I dont know, what should i do?

I am going to get a lot of flak for this answer from the guys, but as a father here goes! I could care less!
Let him meet your parents first and make sure your father shows the boy his gun collection. Along with hints he has no qualms about going back to prison of the boy hurts you in anyway, or tries to pressure you into something.
Also make sure your father lets the boy know that he is a firm believer in shotgun weddings.
If you have any brothers or cousins who are defensive linemen have them there as well. And make sure they let him know how much they like pounding to a pulp anyone messing with their little sister or little cousin.
Then you will not have to worry about him being a jerk as long as he is with you.

Go out with him, but don't tell anybody about it. Your business is your business and nobody elses and if they stop talking to you then they're not your REAL friends.... Who needs friends anyway. If you like him go for it, those other girls probably didn't mean anything to him so he treated them poorly, but you might have a chance. Don't miss out on it, if you feel it's ok then go for it! You'l never know how something is, unless you try it!

I think you should give him a chance. Explain how you feel to your friends. If they are really your friends, they should understand. It's not fair to keep you away from the guy you love "just cuase they say so". besides, its possible that all those bad things he does, are just rumors. You can never be sure.

Well I personally think that your friends are hating on you because he wants you and not them................but you say that you like him and that he's really sweet to you than go for it girl.....I know that you don't want to risk losing your friends over some dude but think about it............If they were really your friends than they would be happy for you......you don't have to be like the rest of the girls do you............!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did this with one of my boyfriends: set up guidelines. Ex. "If you want me to go out with you, you have to promise to be kind to be and not treat me like dirt".Then give him a chance.Remember you hold the power to dump him at anytime.I hope it works out for you, sweetie. GOOD LUCK!

ask ur friends do they have any bad experience with him?well if they don't, then go and hang out with him couple times, so u will know better. but make sure to let ur friends know, that ur going out with him just to check him out. so if anything awkward happens, ur friends can help u.
