It can be literal. It just means that you've done something romantic with someone and you tell people about it.

It's like the event itself is less important than the fact that you can tell people about it.

Just imagine someone telling you about her friend who slept with some famous person. "My friend slept with Johnny Depp. I'm serious." "Really?" "Yeah. They met at..."

The phrase started to be literal, but has gained a metaphoric meaning as well.

The literal meaning is to kiss someone and then tell someone about it. The word "kiss" could also represent all sorts of actions/things as well, and the meaning is basically doing something (like kissing) and then telling others about it.

it means that you have a physical encounter with a person and run and tell your friends.

it is literal,
and guys are the worst at kissing and telling

girls only tell their most trusted friends about their sexual encounters because we don't want people to know our bussiness and think we are easy.

guys on the other hand want everyone in the world to know what they've done, who they've done it with, when they did it and how often they've done it.because it makes them look like a big man or a player.

Yes, it is literal. If you tell the boys who you "kissed" last night that's" kiss and tell. " Men kiss and tell more than women, so they say.

It means that when you kiss your girlfriend, then later, you go to her friends, and your friends, and tell them that you kissed her, and then give them all the details.
Most girls don't want anyone to know that you have been kissing them, as that is kinda a private thing.

can be used literally or figuratively. For example, you're messing around with someone you're not supposed to, she says "i dont kiss and tell" - literal. Or if you're doing something non-physical you're not supposed to with someone you can tell them "don't worry i won't kiss and tell"

It's literal. Most guys blab to everyone about everything that happens with every chick. Don't do it. She'll blab enough for you.
