I know what you mean. You just have to. Remind yourself that God and angels are watching. Remind yourself that your future husband, whoever he may be, will respect you a lot more knowing that you saved yourself for him. And you will respect him to know that he saved himself for you.

I think about whether or not it is really worth losing what I have put so much time and love into. In some cases... yes.... but only if you are done with the relationship... Does that sound bad? I am sure it does... but really if you are thinking about straying your heart is not in it and you need to re-evaluate the relationship. What makes this person you are tempted by so tempting? What does he have that your current guy doesn't? 9 out of 10 times its just lust. & is that worth throwing everything away... Because that is what may happen...
A personal story....
I was done with my ex. I needed a push to break it off. Every day we were together i was falling more and more into a depression state. Then by chance i found my elementary school boyfriend's myspace. We began catching up over the internet. Immediately I knew my current relationship was over. My heart was warm. I realized i was missing happiness. I broke up with my daughter's father and began dating Alex. (the elementary school guy) Now we are talking about marriage. I can see spending forever with him. We are talking about getting our own place. He loves my daughter. She loves him. So... it is so hard to say waht is truly worth giving into... and I know that if I didn't break it off with my ex then i would always wonder what if. Besides we argued way too much and he just wanted me to be someone I wasn't
either way.... good luck. follow your heart.

Temptation will always be there. You have to look at the whole picture and what you would lose if you did give in.
Put that energy into your marriage. Life isn't always that exciting rush, like when you first met...it takes alot of work to try to maintain it, but it's all worth it. I'm married for 13 years, together for 20.

There are many ways to fight off temptation:
First is don't give it a chance to present itself.
Second is if it does turn away right away, don't give it a chance to draw you in.
Third if you succumb to temptation, ask for forgiveness and try again to do the first and the second.
I think is very important that before doing something you feel is wrong, pray about it, think to yourself, would I appreciate it if my partner in life came to me with this same story and would I like it if that person did the same to me.
God is wonderful and will help those who ask for help through difficult situation's, pray.
God bless and have a wonderful day.

Hey Mattie...
Being a bible student and facing a similar dilema, I can give you some good advice. I have now been abstient for 2 years now following the birth of my son. So, from expereince I can say that #1. your must truley have the fear of the Lord. What is more imortant to you, Sex or spending eternity in eternal pain and hell ? The bible says in proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beggening of knowledge." What this means is if you want clarification and wisdom understand that the choices we make could cost us in eternal seperation from God. Now, is this really worth it ? The 2nd thing is, you don't want to end up pregnant. Believe me you probebly end up with a guy you don't wnat to be with the rest of your life and miserable. Please hear me !! Wait for your ultimate Prince and disover the blessings you will recieve once you are married to the one God has planned for you. 3rd I know it's easier to say then do, but if you know that a guy will be coming by, or your going to be put into a situation where you are alone with him, just do everything in your power to avoid taking the next step, run in the opposite direction. FEAR THE LORD, and FEAR HELL "for what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul. Really understand what hell is, and keep telling your self that you do not want to go there it's not worth it.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Your special and your body is special why not wait and enjoy this with your special someone? I know that your probebly younger than me and our culture puts a strong priority on being sexual with everyone we come in contact with, bust just imagaine where those other people have been and what diesaes they may have without even knowing about it? Is this worth it to you !! I know it's not too me and so coming from someone with experinece I highly rccomend that you stay into the word of God and choose this day whom you will serve... get good friends who will keep you into the Lord and who encourage you and also maintain distance from the fellas...
later on in life you will think back to this moment of divine appointment as God trys to speak to you, through his word and through me, right NOW. Study this place known as hell and I think that once you've obtain all information about this very real place than you will make better choice. I hope this helps you out my sister.. Also, here is a link for you as well www.walking-wounded.net/html/christians_and_sexual_temptation.html
In Jesus Name,
Micky Lange

Guard your heart with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23). Don’t let the demonic realm have access to your thought-life. The Bible commands you to get control of your thoughts; read what Romans 13:14 says, "But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts)". If you give yourself to it, you will become its slave (Romans 6:16). Read the Bible daily, without fail. As you submit to God, the devil will flee (James 4:7,8)

I just don't feel as pressured to have it
my usual answer would be "replace it", as that's what I do every time I develop a bad habit. unless you can replace people with excersize, I got nothing...

It would be nice if the christians could prove their religious beliefs...
if they could, then they could deal with their temptations!
christianity's greatest struggle is the battle against the Truth, Universal Truth that eliminated religion from Spirituality !!!
Here's the Solution for christians and religion:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.
<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Don't put yourself it situations where temptations are likely to come. If and when temptations arise, the best thing to do is to call on the name of Jesus

Prayer and reading the Bible are the best weapons you can use as a Christian. I know for a FACT that Jesus Christ withstood temptation, so take it to Him.
