What do you mean by ban free worship ? In some or most Islamic countries there is no gree religion. Everyone must be Islamic. That would never work here. Any country run by the church is not much of a country. Anyone who if forced to say he believes in what he does not believe, will never be a good citizen. Religion should be kept in the churches, and out of government. Government should be kept out of the churches.

Do you mean "ban" free worship?

I'm not worried about it. I didn't even know there was a push for it in this country. But if there is, it's not going to happen, so relax. Not all the founding fathers were "religious people." They were quite diverse in their beliefs and they wanted people be free to worship how they so desired. So go worship your little heart out if you want to, no one is stopping you.

They are wrong, free worship should not be banned. This country was founded on the principles of free worship, for any religion.

I'm atheist, and I have no wish to ban free worship. I don't know any atheists that wish to ban free worship. They key here, is the word "free". Anyone is free to worship as they see fit. I would, in fact, be one to stand up and fight for anyone's right to worship as they see fit. We just don't want those who wish to worship to try to force everyone else to worship or pray according to THEIR beliefs.

Our forefathers were not necessarily religious people, but they wanted to ensure that there would be no banning of religion.

However, I'm not certain who you think is trying to ban free worship. It is not the right of the religious to demand that tax-payers subsidize their worship. If you want to worship, then you have to pay for it yourself, and not count on the government to pay part of your bills.

I put the people who want to ban free worship in the same category with people who want to ban democracy. Right or wrong they both go hand in hand.

The founding father's which where religious people! They where so full of piousness they murdered and stole and broke all ten commandments to make a way for their religion and it was okay cause their transgressions where for the benefit of their just god and people whom are not like them do not deserve the privilege of calling themselves human nor share the same inside track as them. This country was founded on bullying and it is ran by bullying just like all other countries on this planet.

Side note: I am not even phased by your statement the only people that have to fear from anyone are the ones on the edge of even non conventional people and someone should stop those loons anyway and they don't stop them so ain't nothing going to happen.

I love the band 'free worship' they rock and I think the people who want them are cool and of course they are right.

My father wasn't much of a runner, although he was religious.

He would never run across the country like some kind of preaching Forrest Gump though.
