Out of respect to my (very) Catholic family, I never told them. When I was 29, my father died suddenly. My mother, who at one point had seriously planned on becoming a nun, came to me and asked me if I could contact him for her (something I don't do, since I have "brought back" more than I had bargained for when I tried when I was younger). Apparently, she has always known. She respected my beliefs, and I respected hers. Occasionally, she will ask questions to understand, but she has never tried to "bring me back" to Catholicism.

I haven't told my parents. I probably never will. I'm still only just starting to learn about everything anyways. I told my aunt this year and she was sooo happy. (her and her partner are both wiccans, and the reason I've always liked it and have now started to "get into it.")

Well, I'm not Wiccan anymore, but when I was, and I told my mom, I was sixteen. She actually took it pretty well. She just told me that there was no such thing as "white" magic, and that I wasn't allowed to bring any of my stuff into the house.
Other than that, she treated me exactly the same as she had before.
And she was, and is, a conservative Republican Christian.
