It amazes me of people today. Sexuality, media, violence and feminism are praised as if they were precious gems.
while abstinence, honesty and CLASS are shunned and disregarded.
Why is this? why do people want to live like trash instead of dignified individuals? explain

Realisitically, it's been like this through all the ages. There was barely a time when honor and honesty was regarded as good and wise through all the people. We live in an enlightened age- unfortunately, people's morals haven't really changed to match the age.
And some people like such trash because it gets them what they want. Or at least what they think they want. Using violence or sex to get pleasure and such... it's a vile way of life but they either don't know better or refuse to know better. Luckily there are a bright few of us who like such things as honesty and class, so just stay away from those who don't and look for those who do.

but who is to say what is appropriate and good? What you call good, i wouldn't. What you call trash might be something different altogether to another person. While i and my family doesn't believe in abstinence, it is alright that you do. i won't agree with you but you have the right to believe in that is how you should live YOUR own life. Don't make decisions for how people should run their lives.

Your version of "trash" or "gross" is yours, not necessarily anyone elses. If you don't like something, don't support or applaud it.
Some things that are popular and common nowadays do distress me as well, but others I think are having their time and are due...we needn't live in the dark ages forever, but there are appropriate and inappropriate ways of going about things.
What exactly does this have to do with Singles & Dating?

I guess because we have the RIGHT to do it. Because we have the right to be sexual. We have the right to freedom of press. We have the right to be feminists. We have the right to teach our children how to have safe sex instead of telling them they can't have it at all.
Rights are a pretty important piece of our society, don't you think?
