The opinions by themselves don't. The fact that people believe them as fact is very disturbing.

Everyone is indoctrinated, either by a bible based religion, man-made religion or the world. You either believe the bible, other man made religions or the worlds view. We all have to believe in something. If you base your belief on knwoing the author, then why do you believe anything you read, see or hear, as in newspapers, radio broadcvasts, television shows, magazines, books. I am sure you have not met all these authors personally. The people are not giving their opinion in the bible, they are giving prophecy of things to come, that no one at the time even understood, they themselves did not understand it then, it was written for us. There are many things that science has proven in history that was foretold about in the bible.

I am a Christian and there are things in the bible that make me sad, but it is not for me to judge or question. I follow and listen to him when he speaks to me. I know what my faith is, It can never be proven by any logic. I know the bible is true, if not then we have no open path to God since we have junked up our life so much. I simply refuse to believe that he out us here and we are damned to hell with no way out. Jesus is our way out, he comlpetes us and fulfills the Father's words!

No, they don't bother any of us Christians at all. But I could see how they could disturb some of them brainwashed atheists.

Indoctrinated by what - your philosophy or the philosophy of the wise men in the Bible ? Personally I would choose theirs over yours anyday. No clowning around philosophy for me please.
