For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.
Ephesians 6:12-13

The answer is simple. We all have a "sin nature". We got our sin natures after the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Romans 5:12 says, "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.
Without God, we have no control over our sin nature. It is impossible for someone who hasn't become saved to do good.
Romans 3:10-12 says, "As it is written:There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
Our sin nature desires to do evil. We natural have the urge to do wrong.
Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"
But there is good news. You can become right with God.
1 Timothy 1:15-17 says, "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
I hope that you found this to be helpful. God bless.

First you must understand that sin does not exist. The idea of or concept behind sin is to cause people to feel guilt, therefore needing someone (God in this case) to forgive them for this sin. It is easy to fall into sin because everything that leads to personal happiness and gratification IS A SIN. The rules and laws are set up in a way to guarantee that people will always sin and be unable to avoid it. The things which are our instincts and natural desires, these things have been purposely labeled as sins for the sole purpose for redirecting people to the Christian god. Quite clever.

The basic sinful human nature we inherited from the fall in the garden in Eden.
In reading James chapter 4, you'll see where many find their reason for stumbling. The answer to victory over this is verse 7.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." And in verse 8, "Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded"
Maybe I should have just copied out the whole section...there's so much there!
The key is submission. Submission to what you know God's will to be. The only place we know for certain where His revealed will can be found is in the Bible. This is why it is so very important to know the word of God. Recall Psalm 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee"
If we take Christ to be our example,(and of course we should) we see HOW He faced temptation in Matthew chapter 4.
The whole story behind the story isn't shown here though... Christ did not merely quote scripture, He SUBMITTED Himself to it!
That is what we all need to do.
And not crucifying our old nature daily is a sure way to keep having trouble.

Becuase it is much easier to fall into vice than virtue, that is why to live a virtues life, to travel down the road less traveled, is harder than taking the easy road.
God bless and remember that strength comes by working out, so give yourself a spiritual work out and sin less.

I don't find it that hard, but then again I don't find it that hard to not sin. I have no need to rob, murder, steal, I don't want my neighbors husband. I try not to eat to much. I just live and try not to hurt others. I would guess there are people who find some things hard, maybe sex, but I couldn't say why. Peoples brains get screwed up in the wiring sometimes when growing up.

Sin is a common illusion created by various churches and religions to try to control people.. to make them docile and to turn them away from the reality that they are and always will be masters of their destiny. The term 'sin' was only created out of ignorance. In higher understanding of reality for example darkness is shown to be just the absence of light, not a 10 headed monster that will be waiting for you in hell to torment you forever. So my answer to this question is that people never fall into sin, they simply interpret their actions in a negative way and they turn away from reality, choosing to believe their own distorted ideas of it in stead of putting aside their ignorance and simply observing and living reality as it is. By turning away from ignorance all sin disapears...

Because we are animals. Without religion, we would do anything without using our intelligence. Adultery, lies, jealousy, hatred, backbiting, racism, etc, all these are results of lack of belief and practice of that particular religion. If you are not brought up religiously and cultivate love for god and respect to it's laws, then one will be safe from mostly all sins.
Religion is the training which one should undertake to become a "human".

Simply because the human psychological tendency to act in a hedonistic manner (id) is more natural than forcing ourselves to obey the rules placed upon us (superego)
