i have long hair, and im afraid if it getting frizzy if i straighten it or curl it using a curling iron. Anyone have any ideas how to hold big curls for atleast 4 hours that wont look yucky wearing that ugly grad cap?

I think a big braid looks awesome, but if you really want big curls, I suggest going to a salon, cap in hand.

I had the same problem!!! I totally recommend using citre shine "shine miracle". It's an anti-frizz hair polisher. You can get it at any pharmacy store (CVS, Rite Aid) or even at Walmart and it's inexpensive. Massage a few drops into your hair (wet or dry; focus on the ends) and then style. Straighten it first and then add in your curls. That's what I did for graduation. Oh, and try not to pull your cap on tight. Just have it on enough so it won't fall off when accepting your diploma. Good luck!

the night before curl it as much as you can with a large curling iron.. and put hair spray in it.. ALOT! and then once you're done curling it.. then pin them up with bobby pins ( 1$ )
and then sleep on it.. and then when you wake up you can fix any of the ones that fell out during your time you rested.
good luck!! or if all fails, just wear it down and straight:) CONGRATS! that's awesome you graduated.

Dont straighten your hair. I grauated last year and I straightened my hair...well it was hot and although it takes a lot for me to sweat I DID! And when I took my cap off my hair was funky! It's hot outside and youre gonna be hot. I think you should curl your hair...use rollers and spary it when you take them out. And then maybe even pin the sides back with bobby pins. CUTE!

It looks like your hair is like mine: promptly, skinny, shoulder-length, does not curl... that's what I do whilst i want my hair to be out of ways yet nonetheless seem stylish: French braid your hair and maintain with a tiny rubberband on the nape of your neck. (upload some sticky stuff or hose down the hair if that is too slippery to hold the braid properly.) next, tuck the tip of the braid returned decrease than and into the backside of the braid. Use bobby pins to maintain the now-hidden bring about place.
