My whole point to this is to point out these idiots who flock to images of Jesus when know one know what he looks like. BTW The shroud of Turin has not been authenticated. I seriously think that people believe that the white pictures of Jesus are real photos. This is MADNESS.

I don't think that anyone can actually catch him into a picture. It's impossible unless someone has seen him but you are not suppsoe to make images because it says in the bible....

In acts 17:29 Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone- in image made by man' design and skill.

Just because someone might draw an image of what they think Jesus looks like, does not mean that he looks like that but you would get a picture if you decide to read what Jesus truely looks like.. Look at yourself in the mirror.. We are all made in Gods image.

People didn't even know what he looked like when he was alive. Herod thought Jesus was a resurrected John the Baptist - it was a common opinion at the time (See Mt.16.13-14, Mk.6:14-15, 8:27-28, Lk.9:7-8, 18-19).

people see what they want to see. there are people who have seen the virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich or an image on a window...
my son, sees animals up in the clouds all the time. it's called imagination.

the image that we think of when we think of Jesus, is not really what he looked like. we really don't know what he looked like. but if we had to guess, by age, location, religious beliefs, and era... he looked nothing like that.

Well our society makes Jesus look like a thin white guy from Nebraska. That doesn't make any sense since he was Jewish and lived in the Middle East. He should have dark skin, dark hair, long side hair, and wear a yarmulke. It's no surprise that when people have visions of him, though, he looks like how he is painted and sculpted in European churches.

We guess. Personally I like the image of Jesus with the brown hair and beard, soothing a fleecy lamb, the scars in his hands, and his white cloak with a blue sash. It's a very classic picture I grew up with.

Exactly. That's why it's ludicrous when someone sees his face in a tortilla or a piece of toast. People say this about the virgin Mary as well. "Once I saw her in a puddle of spilled Fresca..." The image that we have a Mary is a man-made image. No one knows what she looks like so it's pretty preposterous to claim that one has seen their likeness.

I think they just go by paintings and things they have seen hanging in churches through the years. If Jesus were going to come back with a sign why do it on a potato chip?

Probably if you had a piece of toast with Jesus on it people would pay more money for it, or a window with Jesus on it people would line up to see it but if you said it looks like Charles Manson, only crazy people would give you money for it.

I know what Jesus Christ looks like and many of the pictures of him are correct or close but he does not have long hair.
Same with Moses except he does not have horns as the statue shows him.
