Don't said "sorry for my english". Everyone (french people)want or like speak English language, consequently, you're better than me.
for your question, I think that, when french people talk english, their accent is cool (if they want it) and ugly (if they don't have "feeling")....
take care of u boy.

French accents are very tough to understand for Americans, I think. French phoenetics are so different, that each country butchers the others' language when we attempt it. More time spent with native speakers probably improves pronunciation tremendously. When I see a French word, or French place, I am often embarassed to attempt to pronounce it. When do you leave off the "S" sound? You have to say "San" instead of "Saint", etc. Yet in English we have words that end in "S" and don't pronounce it. "Illinois" is a good example of that.
I guess it's just about memorization and repetition. Good luck on your studies!

Canadian French has a different accent from French in France, so their accent when speaking English is different. To me, the accent isn't all that different, but my brother-in-law from France says it is very noticeable to people in France. Back some years ago, he said French Canadian popular music was preferred in France because it had a great sound. when they would interview the musicians on TV, everyone in France was going "What??!!" or (quoi?!) because the accent was so difficult to understand. Remember that the French have been in Canada since the 1500's, so their language has developed into one uniquely their own. English-speaking Canadians sound very much like U.S. Americans in neighboring states over the border. Coming from the northern states, it isn't all that different to me, except for the use of some local phrases and the great Canadian "ote and abote" sound. The US has far more varied accents throughout the country.

I think that it is ok. I don't ever mind accents because I try to speak other languages too and I know how hard it can be to get rid of the accent. Just makes everything more interesting!

Bonjour. Personally j'adore ( I love) accents with women, french sometimes gets annoying, mainly when they forget the translation and do the "ermmmmm" sound which does get annoying. I think it is attractive and the french accent is sometimes sexy, if your female your french accent is very sexy and attractive.
hope ive helped.

It's lovely, even the way the French say my name is cool. I am Don-air in French rather then Don-na as it is in English.
I have an English friend who speaks perfect French and it does not sounds as good as when his wife, who is French, speaks English.

The accent by itself makes no difference, as long as you can understand the person with the accent. However, many Americans would have a distaste for it based on general xenophobia.
