At least 12 people on the planet feel he was not guilty - they were called THE JURY! Personally I feel this is disrecpectful of the man, and our judicial system. What am I missing? I watched the trial- and thought it was fair- This is a serious question, as all my friends think I'm off the chart with this-

Thanks for all the input- however, just to point a finger and say "he did it" just doesn't answer the question- how would you possibly KNOW?

First he is a public figure who was the star of one of the most famous public trials in history. He opens him self up to this.
Second, like many people you confuse the difference between being found not guilty and being found innocent. OJ most likely did commit the crimes for which he was charged the problem is that the police could not prove it beyond all reasonable doubt, so the Jury felt they could not convicted him. It is not that they were stupid or that they believed he did it, but the Judicial systems only works when a jury convicts if there is no reasonable doubt there was some here.

Because HE DID IT.
The jury didn't know or comprehend half of the science being shown to them, couldn't believe he was capable of it, and add to that an utterly botched prosecution that couldn't even adhere to the basic premise of argument, much less make a compelling one. And a judge that only cared about the previous night's "Dancing Itos"
Read Vincent Bugliosi's (Manson's prosecutor) book on the subject.
The justice sytem in that case was disrespectful to every thinking being.
That said, people probably would leave him be if he just manned up and say what everyone already knows...he DID it.

You are off the chart ! OJ proved that with money and a bias JURY, The American system is flawed...one Juror was quoted as saying they didn't consider evidence..of course all evidence must be consider to make a logical decision!

Most people believe that if ALL of the evidence was made available in his criminal trial, he would have been found guilty. Mockingly, after the trial, he stated, "I will not rest until I find the real killers of Nicole and Ron." So we are to assume that the killers are lurking somewhere on one of South Floridas golf courses.

There is a lot of scorn because the man literally got away with murder, made a joke out of the families he hurt, the legal system, and the victims. The public feels he deserves to suffer since our legal system didn't see it that way.

Everyone on the planet EXCEPT those 12 people know he is guilty. You witnessed the race card played to perfection by Simpson's lawyers.

This is a free country and most of us feel OJ is guilty and escaped because of some really shoddy prosecution and his ability to spend millions on a defense.

Probably because he tried to come out with a book entitled "If I did it..." essentially laughing in the face of the victims families.
That is beyond cocky and is reprehensibly crass.
