So I'm a man and I have sex often with this other man, and it feels really good, and we penetrate each other and kiss and everything. But it's straight sex. What's so hard to get about that?

I should add that I'm actually gay, and normally I have gay sex with men. And it's the same for this guy, who's also gay. But we just prefer to have straight sex with each other.

Ok, time for some sex ed. Sex between a man and a woman is straight sex. That is the only time you can have straight sex. Gay sex is when two people of the same sex have sex. Whether they are male or female, gay or bi.

You are having gay sex. Theres nothing wrong with it, you just need to accept it.

Actually there are a lot of men that have found that after trying gay sex, they like it, and yet don't feel "gay" otherwise. They don't act effeminate, and they are still turned on by women. The term of choice is bisexual, but I don't think it's even that simple. I think because of cultural attitudes, others can't accept that the sexual appetites of just about anyone can be satisfied by more than just doing something with a body that has to be of a different gender.

The biggest sticks in the mud in this respect are the true gays themselves, who have a psychological problem with touching women in a sexual manner. Even though they can be aroused, they just don't like the women themselves.

So they are the ones that insist that if you like sex with a man, you must be gay. That's just so much BS. It's actually normal to like the sex act, no matter who greases your pole and how,

okay. i am confused. how is 2 men having sex straight? It's homosexual either way. I would think that if you did not kiss and stuff it would be less gay ~ LOL ~ but if you wanted non-gay anal sex, then i would suggest doing so with a woman, right? Are you attracted to men or is it just this man and you are close? Alotta men feel the way you do which is why they are said to be "down low".

It's all about labels and definitions. Part of the definition of 'gay' is a romantic or asthetic attraction to the same sex. Therefore the sort of interaction you're talking about is 'gay' according to the dictionary definition However I tend to agree with you that I don't want to wear the 'gay' label not out of shame or hiding anything, but because I hate labels and the assumptions people make from them.

So, to more directly answer your question you go ahead and do whatever makes you comfortable and call it whatever you like. The best thing to do is just not to give it a definition. You are in control. It's your life therefore other assumptions and definitions are irrelevant. It is what you are happy with in yourself that counts.

Um.... straight sex is a man and a woman, gay sex is 2 people of the same sex enjoying sex.

Are you saying because you're straight acting etc etc that you consider it to be straight sex?

It sounds like you are in denial. Straight sex is when a man has sex with a woman, otherwise it is gay sex.

I can understand that two men, who do not consider that they are anything other than straight can have sex with each other, but that does not make it straight sex, it is same sex, or homosexual sex. What's so hard to get about that?
